This is a festive celebration dedicated to bringing holiday cheer to children from underserved communities. At the annual gathering, the Cary Citizens Assisting Police (CAP) group generously provided each child with a special gift: a bicycle, a scooter, or rollerblades. In addition to these exciting presents, each child received essential winter items, including a coat, a hat, and gloves, as well as toys, toiletries, and other necessities. Families also enjoyed a hearty meal, ensuring that all felt the spirit of the season. Cary saw the largest attendance to date, with 50 children and their families coming together. Now in its third year, the contest drew a strong response from local students. To highlight the artists, Cary Police featured one design each day for 16 days on its social media platforms, leading up to the final reveal of the winning creation. This initiative not only celebrated student creativity but also strengthened community connection during the holiday season.
