Key elements covered for more advanced players are strategy development, defensive and offensive shot selection, and effective serve and serve return. Rackets required or available to purchase at the first class. Location: Bond Park Community Center Fees: $80(R) $110(N) (5 classes) 88966 Sat Sep 12–Oct 17 7–8 p.m. (no class Oct 10) Adult Recreational Fencing (age 18 & up) For the adult fencer who may or may not have any prior experience fencing, this class is an introduction and a refresher for those who may have some fencing experience. The focus will be on the fundamentals of fencing, learning basic footwork, and blade skills. Fencers will be able to progress individually. Passes can be purchased and used at any of the three centers. A parent must sign the waiver for purchase of youth or teen passes.
