Learn about techniques and styles of cubism, fauvism, and pop art. Choose your favorite still life subjects (florals, fruit, food, etc.) while expressing your personal sense of whimsy, humor, and tradition. Pigmented (colorful) beeswax is melted on a heated palette and painted with brushes. It hardens immediately and is fused with a heat gun. Techniques such as scraping, incising, transfer, and collate will be used. Supplies included, except panels. Students purchase first panel from instructor (approx. $10).
