Salon: An Evening of Arts & Culture at the Page-Walker Friday, November 6 | 7 p.m. | $20 Page-Walker Arts & History Center Modeled on historic European salons in which guests gathered in the homes of the elite for art, food, and conversation, attendees will enjoy performances by poets, musicians, and thespians while surrounded by fine art in the Page-Walker main gallery. Guest performers include harpist Domenique Tanzini. Refreshments that reflect the event's inspiration will be served. ACC Women's Soccer Championship November 6 & 8 WakeMed Soccer Park The ACC Women's Soccer Championship represents the culmination of months of women's ACC Soccer action. The winner of the tournament gets an automatic bid to the NCAA post season tournament. Threatened by danger, mystery, and a fiendish hound that stalks his family, Sir Henry is relieved when Sherlock Holmes himself appears to trap the diabolical killer and unravel the mystery. Adapted to the stage by F. Andrew Leslie from the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Cary Eid Festival Saturday, October 17 | Time TBD | Free Downtown Cary An American holiday event, the Cary Eid Festival celebrates two feast days, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, events celebrated by nearly 2 billion people around the world. The festival will features foods from the Mediterranean, South Asian, and the Middle East in a "Festival of Feast." Enjoy entertainment from around the world, and activities for children—fun for the whole family. Co-sponsored by the NC Eid Festival and the Town of Cary.
