Learn to cut stained glass, create a pattern, choose a color combination, set pieces with adhesives, and how to grout. Supplies included. Create small projects such as sun catchers and learn how to create tiles and pieces to be used in jewelry. Glass can be purchased at the Arts Center for $1 per ounce. Adhesives will be used to set the pieces with teacups, mugs, etc., onto the substrate. Grout is used to complete the piece. The teacup, mug, etc., is filled with dirt and seeded with herbs. Successful completion of a Beginning Metals class or Beginning Glass class qualifies students to purchase a Metals or a Glass Studio Card to access the studio and use the equipment to work on individual projects.
