Empanadas can be made ahead and frozen for later! Add a salad of your choice, and you will be all set. Participants will make Argentine Beef Empanadas, Mushroom and Butternut Squash Empanadas, and Spinach and Cheese Empanadas. Empanada dough will be made from scratch and then filled with the delicious fillings. 96197 Tue Dec 13 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Cake Decorating Have your cake, decorate it and eat it too! The first day of each class we will cover the foundations of cake baking, icing, filling and decoration. In the second class, learn how to decorate a homemade cake with beautiful borders and decorations. Fun homework between classes will test your skills. We discuss selection of alternate ingredients, tips on smart shopping and more. All classes are "hands on" and encourage creativity for all! Cooking with Carrie Join us for hands on cooking experiences, as well as, learning how to adjust basic recipes to accommodate healthier ingredients/options, focusing on serving sizes and more! Location: Ballroom/Kitchen Instructor: Carrie DiPietro Fees: $17(R) $22(N) (per class) DELICIOUS TARTS! Create three tasty tarts: a fruit tart, vegetable ricotta tart, and a lemon chocolate tart.
