You will learn to layer colorful tissue for a "larger than life" design in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe to complete a 2D composition. Bring a 9x12' sketchbook for preliminary drawings. Instructor: Ginny O'Neal Fees: $14(R) $18(N) (1 class) 96010 Thu Sep 1 4–7 p.m. Beginning Colored Pencil You will learn how to use colored pencils to create painterly pictures. Steps will include mixing, color theory, different colored pencil strokes and techniques. In addition to learning basic techniques, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of papers and mylar. Colored pencils are a portable medium and very enjoyable. This card will allow you to have 10 visits to either of our open studio programs: Ceramics and/or Fine Arts! You can also purchase a one-time pass to try out one activity.
