SPORTS PART TWO REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 99 Town of Cary one-on-one baseball lessons are offered year-round and are intended to develop, enhance, and build upon your player's skill level. Due to the overwhelming popularity of lessons, available dates are released on the 25th of every month for lessons held the following month. They will be posted on EZ-REG web and will be available on a fi rst-come, fi rst- served basis. Please follow the prompts to indicate the type of lesson you would like. Lessons are for anyone interested in baseball and they are offered in 30-minute ($30) or 60-minute ($45) sessions. If you have any questions, please email TOCInstructors@ townofcary.org. PRIVATE INSTRUCTION Basketball Basketball Achievers Skills Class (age 7–15) Learn basketball fundamentals designed to build your knowledge of basketball and give you confi dence to compete. Instruction will include skill development in the areas of ball handling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques. Coach Williams is a USA Basketball-certifi ed youth development basketball coach. You will learn proper shooting form to improve range and accuracy, how to grip the ball, and how to score using proper footwork and timing techniques. Instructor: Town of Cary Baseball Instructors Fees: $30(R) $39(N) (1 class) 107723 Wed Oct 25 6–7:30 p.m. NTC Academy—Catcher's Skills & Techniques (age 14–18) Participants will learn proper catching techniques, including several drills that will help them become elite players on a competitive level. Protective equipment is encouraged. Location: USA Baseball National Training Complex Instructor: Town of Cary Baseball Instructors Fees: $30(R) $39(N) (1 class) 107724 Wed Oct 25 6–7:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the decision to play or not will be made by the Sports Staff. Information will be on the Town website at http://games.townofcarync. gov/. A recording will also beon the Weather Cancellation Line at (919) 319-4500. Updates are made at 3 p.m. each weekday, 7 a.m. on Saturday, and 12 p.m. on Sunday. If a decision is made after these times, it will be announced by the offi cials at the facility.
