Each workshop, students will practice and learn a different style with an introduction to the tools of calligraphy: India ink and dip pen. Coptic binding, developed by early Egyptians, dates back to the 2nd century AD. Coptic bound books make great journals, drawing/sketching books, and they are beautiful works of art. All skill levels welcome. A supply fee of $40 is payable to the instructor to cover all materials.
